The Whirlpool Corporation is an American company formed in 1911 with more than 70,000 employees worldwide and over 70 research or manufacturing sites around the world. They make various brands, of which Whirlpool is probably the best known. They started out with automatic wringers and washers and went on from there. The company is also currently involved in a lot of charity work, mostly to do with low-cost housing. The company also makes IKEA brand appliances. Whirlpool Dishwashers Promotion
Whirlpool promotes various features in their dishwashers. They have 6th Sense
technology, which adjusts things such as the water pressure and temperature according to what is needed. They also have PowerClean which tackles extra dirty crockery and saucepans with the use of 32 rotating high-pressure water jets. Almost all of them have an AAA energy rating.
The ADP 7955 is a standard size machine which has a Class AAA rating. Apart from 6th Sense it also has AquaSteam washing. This is a system where, during the main cycle, steam is created, which helps soften hardened food residue. It has a capacity of 13 place settings, 6 different temperatures, a delay timer, and 7 programs. Half-load washing can be done in either the upper or lower baskets. It comes in silver or white and can be found for as little as £338 online.
Whirlpool Dishwashers Models
The ADP 5600 Whirlpool Dishwashers is available in white or black and has a capacity of 12 place settings. It has 5 different temperatures, the PowerClean feature and a start delay timer. There are 5 programs and an adjustable upper basket. Prices range from £250 to £429 depending on the retailer.
The ADP 2315 and the 3315 both have 4 different temperatures, a half load feature, an LED salt refill indicator, 5 programs, and a 12-setting capacity. The baskets are not adjustable. Prices vary from £270 to £379.
Similar to the previous two models is the ADP 5315. It has a lot of the same features although it only has 3 temperatures. The main difference is that is has the PowerClean feature. Online prices vary from £312 to £389.
They also have a range of integrated (built in behind a cupboard door) or semi-integrated (partially covered by a door with the control panel visible) dishwashers. One integrated dishwasher is the ADP 8210. This has the 6th Sense and AquaSteam features, adjustable baskets and single basket washing, 5 temperatures, start delay, 7 programs, and water softener. With all these features though, it doesn’t come cheap with prices ranging from £643 to £699.
As well as the standard, Whirlpool do slim-line dishwashers, one of which being the ADP 451. This has the capacity for 9 place settings and has the start delay function. It has 5 different temperatures and a water softener. It has 6 programs and can cost between £282 and £360. There is also an integrated slim-line dishwasher which can be bought for £419 to £499.
